It is necessary to ensure that tourism, which is very concentrated in Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve, is spread to the rest of the country. By getting tourism to reach the rest of Portugal, we will have a greater capacity instead of being at the limit. We that, we will see further tourism growth, also contributing to greater territorial cohesion.

Sustainability means a necessary investment in something currently referred to as sufficiency. In other words, using sufficient resources to ensure people's quality of life and wellness. Safety is, for any country, the economic condition, the condition of development, and the condition of freedom. When our constitution states that every citizen has the right to freedom and safety, it is not by chance: they are linked in such a way that we do not even notice that a country prospers if it is safe. A country can attract businesses and wealth if it is safe.

This process is common to all dynamics, both in receiving countries and in terms of the profile of visitors. Ageing will have a parallel repercussion, which is the necessity of work. As much as we want to modernize sectors, technology will not replace human labour. We will need more people than we have today to sustain a sector such as tourism.
